First International Capacity Building Lab - Italy (Rome)
First international Capacity Building Lab
From 16 to 18 June 2026, Forma Camera hosted the first international Capacity Building Lab, "Co-Designing the Foundations of the E.U-Re.C.o.V.E Training Model for Social Urban Regeneration". Under the coordination of Luca Reitano, representatives of partner organisations from across Europe worked through an intensive three-day programme based on transnational Communities of Practice. Participants explored social urban regeneration, community engagement, heritage enhancement, local economic ecosystems, green transition and urban resilience. Collaborative workshops, peer learning and stakeholder dialogue helped the consortium identify shared European challenges, map emerging competence needs and analyse transferable good practices. The Lab produced competence frameworks, challenge maps, stakeholder recommendations and initial components of the E.U-Re.C.o.V.E Training Model, establishing a shared basis for the next stage of methodological development.
